Return Policy

Please refer to the following for information on uScoot USA’s return policy.

Some items are eligible for a full refund, and some require a 15% or 25% restocking fee.

If for any reason you need to return your Scooter, uScoot USA will offer a full refund under the following circumstances:

  -  Scooters must be returned within 14 days of delivery.

  -  The product must be unopened, in its original packaging with all paperwork, parts and accessories as originally furnished to you. 

  -  Scooters must not have any scratches, marks and the tires must not be dirty or worn.

  -  Shipping and handling costs and other additional charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Please follow these simple steps to make your return:

  1. Call our office to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number before returning the unopened item.
  2. The item must be returned within 14 days to receive a full refund.
  3. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment used for online purchase.  The refund should be within 3-5 days of our receiving and inspecting your returned product.

The Power Wheel Chairs, Lift Chairs, and Vehicle Lifts we offer require a 15% restocking fee.

In order to return these items:

  -  Product must be unopened, in its original packaging with all paperwork, parts and accessories.

  -  If the item is a Power Wheelchair, there must not be any scratches, marks and the tires must not be dirty or worn.

  -  If the item is a Lift Chair, it must be in new condition with no changes to the fabric (tear, stains, soiling) or to the structure. 

  -  If the item is a Vehicle Lift, it must be in new condition and not have been installed.

  -  Power Wheel Chairs and Lift Chairs must be returned within 14 days. 

  -  Vehicle Lifts must be returned within 10 business days.

  -  Shipping and handling costs and other additional charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Refused Goods: 

Orders cancelled after the item has shipped are subject to standard return policies.  You must accept delivery, obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA) and ship back to the address provided to you for a credit. If delivery of an item is refused, return shipping costs are deducted from the issued credit and a 25% restocking fee (minimum $25) will apply. Second-Day and Next-Day shipping costs will not be credited if delivery is refused.

Manufacturer Limited Warranties:

Power Chairs, Scooters, Lift Chairs and Vehicle Lifts carry a 13-month manufacturer limited warranty.

Mobility Assurance Policy

We realize that many of our customers would like to try one of our power mobility products without the commitment of a non refundable purchase. We have created a program specifically for this. The Mobility Assurance Program allows you to pay a small additional cost when purchasing your mobility product for an insured 30-day period in which we will allow you to return the product for a full refund. This trial period will allow you time to test your equipment to ensure proper fit, comfort level and ease of mobility. If, for any reason, the product does not suit your needs, we will allow it to be returned with no limits for a complete refund (less the cost of shipping) within a 30-day time period from your date of purchase.

  -   We reserve the right to refuse assurance to any customer who may be abusing the Mobility Assurance Program.

  -   The Mobility Assurance Program only covers the product purchased with this policy.  No other items purchased with the same order are included. Products included in this policy are Power Wheel Chairs and Scooters.

  -  The Mobility Assurance Program cost is determined per product and is subject to change at any time. It may not be offered on every product.

  -  The Mobility Assurance Program can only be purchased at time of checkout and must be paid for at time of purchase.

  -  Returns must be received with the 30-day period, including transit time. Please contact your uScoot USA customer service representative prior to sending your return for an RA number that will allow us to correctly identify your return and refund your money properly.  Please send a copy of your packing slip and order number with your returned item.  We will provide a refund within 3-5 days of our receiving and inspecting your returned product.

All items purchased without the Mobility Assurance Program are subject to uScoot USA’s standard return policy.

*Power Chairs and Scooters must be returned in the original manufacturer packaging including all literature and parts. Failure to do so may result in a denial of the assurance claim.

We are happy to offer our Mobility Assurance Program to individuals as an additional protection of their purchase, but due to the nature of our program, we must strictly enforce this policy to keep our Assurance costs low. Traditionally, mobility equipment is dispensed by local providers who accept insurance as payment. Consumer choice of equipment through local providers is limited. The uScootUSA.com business model is cash up front in exchange for mobility equipment. The consumer makes their choice of equipment and purchases the equipment with their own money.
